All of the colleges are accredited by ACCSC, a national accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. The colleges offer degree programs from the Associate’s level through the Master’s level in a variety of disciplines including Computer Science, Graphic Arts, Business/Accounting, Nursing, and Healthcare.  CEHE is an at-will employer.

Student Advisor – Admissions Center

The Student Advisor is responsible for helping with essential functions that assist with helping our students fulfill the admissions requirements. A large focus of the position is to track all transcript request forms for the team, process, follow up on, and verify the proof of graduation documents (POG’s) for their assigned team. This position will work within a team that will consist of Admissions Consultants, ADOA’s, and Financial Planners. Additional duties may be assigned by the DOA.

Essential Functions:

  • Process all transcript request forms within 24 hours of receiving them
  • Diligently follow up on all TRF’s received on a daily basis
  • Verify the POG’s, and update in CampusVue promptly
  • Interface with and support Admissions
  • Meeting monthly/weekly goals
  • Keep detailed records of all transactions
  • Update Early Admissions Course information in CampusVue
  • The point person for log-in resets for the team
  • Ensure accuracy of data gathering and entry
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance for the team if/when needed
  • Performs various other duties as assigned by Management
  • Physical demands – Sitting at a desk with intermittent walking, standing; for up to eight hours, bending, and occasionally lifting objects (up to 15 pounds).  Work is performed in an office.​

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) required. Associate’s Degree preferred
  • Must be extremely detail oriented
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Able to work evenings and some weekends
  • A positive attitude is a must

Measures of Merit:

  • 95% or higher of transcript request forms (TRF’s) processed being received and verified.

Working from Home Requirements

  • Dedicated space/ office must be free from distractions and background noise (personal calls, visitors, pets, TV, children, etc.)
  • Must adhere to set schedule
  • Continuous/active communication with managers and co-workers
  • Dedicated office space that can accommodate dual monitors, computer, and VPN device
  • High-speed internet- Minimum of 6 Mbps download speed and 1.5 upload speed) –  depending on the availability; Cable, DSL, Fiber are only supported ISP provider services; – Provide Internet Service Provider Name with the test results
    • Satellite, Hot Spot and any other unreliable services are not supported by CEHE.
    • Your internet connection from the computer to the internet router/modem has to be hard wired.
    • Wireless connection is not supported
    • Latency/Ping must  be @ 40-45ms or lower
