How do I become an agent?

The basic steps are:

  • Apply to be a Working Solutions agent. *About 15 minutes
  • Take assessments. *About 30 minutes to complete.
  • Receive acceptance or rejection. *Within 24 hours of submitting your completed assessments you will receive an email. This email will either invite you to take your next steps or it will let you know your assessments didn’t meet our minimum requirements.
  • If you pass your assessments, the email you receive will include a link to our Applicant Portal, where you will be asked to add more information to your profile and to scan your computer. The scan is non-invasive and simply lets us know if your computer will work on our programs.
  • Review current opportunities and apply for programs you feel suited for. If no programs fit your needs, keep checking back, they could change daily.

What will I need to do?

Once you complete your profile information (application form)and brief technology scan, you will have the opportunity to complete our assessments, which include written and verbal interview questions and aptitude tests. It will take you less than an hour to complete the whole process

Can I retake the assessments?

Because of the volume of applications, we only allow one-time testing. Please ensure you have the time and a quiet location before you begin.
How do I know if I passed? You will be notified by email within 24 hours of completing your assessments. You can then choose program opportunities that appear to be a match.

How do I know if I’ve been selected for a program?

We will contact you by email with all the program details. If you accept the terms and are selected, an independent contractor agreement will be drafted. It will outline the scope of the work and your objectives.

How do I prepare for my program?

Once selected, you will go through virtual preparation to learn the client’s business and customers before beginning work. Instruction can take anywhere from two days to several weeks, depending on the client. You will receive a monetary stipend for your preparation time, providing you meet all the program requirements.

How long will it take to be selected for a program?

Approved agents will be emailed a link to view available programs that you can apply for. This list changes constantly, so keep checking back if nothing suits you off hand. Depending on the client, it can take between a day and weeks before an agent is selected for the program they applied for. Be sure your email is set to accept email from anyone with a @workingsol.com address.
